Undergraduate Scholarship Program
UCSB Shoreliners Undergraduate Scholarships are offered to all students of sophomore or junior standing in the College of Letters and Science each year on the basis of merit. Up to three scholarships may be awarded in the amount of $1500. Awards are announced in mid July. A congratulatory event takes place in the fall, usually October, which recipients are expected to attend and speak briefly about their academic pursuits. Application information is also available in the College Honors Program.
To apply, see below.
To be eligible, applicants must have at least a 3.6 GPA, to have been enrolled as full time students for at least three quarters, and must plan to enroll full time at UCSB in the next year. The deadline for applications is June 30. Awardees of the scholarships are notified during the summer and they will have to verify their enrollment for the fall quarter.
